Motivational furniture

It’s official, the holiday season is over, we are in the fall. So how can you cope with that? Buying a new secrétaire might be the cure. Crosta Smith Gallery, located at 111 Boundary Road has an interesting selection. Marine Edith Crosta and Daniel Smith are thev curators of this vintage gallery and source every item from France together. Designed by Jacques Adnet in the 30s, the secretaire is a reflection of art-deco modernism that shaped the decade. Adnet was a designer, an architect and an interior designer, so this multifaceted perspective can be read from his piece of furniture. Designed from lemon wood and clad in parchment, when you open the top part, there is a desktop covered with red leather and four small top drawers. Rather than isolating in a boring office, you can easily take your office to your living room with a secretaire like that.
